Showy flowers are typically 1 to 1.5 inches wide with a yellow disk and white to pale violet rays. Often found in loose colonies as it spreads by stolons. Prefers well-drained soils and is not well-suited to rich soils. A member of the Aster family. While this is native to Michigan, seed was sourced from NW Indiana.
